BCCK Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced mid level Chemical Engineer to join its Midland staff. The Chemical Engineer will work with Project Managers, Engineering Manager, other engineering staff and technicians, clients, vendors and regulatory agencies on assigned projects.
The Chemical Engineer will...
- Work closely with Project Managers, other engineering staff, design coordinator, and designers.
- Will be responsible for process equipment specification, evaluation and selection,
- P&ID development, coordination of equipment deliveries to coincide with overall project schedule, and design/construction schedules, plant startup assistance, and client, field and plant operator interface.
- This individual will perform work that involves conventional and acceptable engineering practices.
- May also include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Requirements
B.S. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited US university
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas processing, refinery, or
- Chemical process industries
- Good verbal, written, computer and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented
- Ability to cope with fast paced, rapidly changing work environment
- Ability to travel
- Project management experience a plus
