BCCK Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Midland staff. The Civil Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, other engineering staff, design coordinator and designers and will be responsible for civil and structural engineering to coincide with overall project schedule and design/construction schedules, plant startup assistance, and client, field and plant interface. This individual will perform work that involves conventional and acceptable engineering practices, but may also include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials and difficult coordination requirements.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with a strong emphasis in structural design
- Minimum of 5 years experience with structural steel design, design of steel design, design of concrete foundations and geotechnical engineering
- A broad knowledge of precedents and procedures in civil engineering and a good knowledge of principles and practices of related specialties with knowledge of the following codes: ACI, AISC and ASCE
- Knowledge in the oil and gas processing industry
- Strong verbal, written, computer and organizational skills
- Ability to cope with fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
